Three long-time scuba divers have joined forces to open High Impact Scuba, a new dive center in Sebring, FL. The three cite a passion for SCUBA diving and the desire to have a positive impact on the community in their decision to open the shop. They celebrated their grand opening on Saturday, July 9.
NAUI Course Director Bill Serey recently retired after a career as a Highlands County school teacher and has been training scuba divers since 1978. Bill began teaching scuba with the YMCA in 1978, joined PADI in 1985 as an Instructor, and became a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer 2005, and became a NAUI Instructor in 2005. He trains all levels of divers, from entry level through Instructor.
Andy Piller, is a custom concrete pool contractor and owner of Piller Pool Design, Inc. Lance Marine is a United States Marine Corps veteran and former business consultant for EY in New York.

While High Impact Scuba stocks top-quality equipment for advanced divers, High Impact SCUBA also caters to families with a variety of snorkel gear. Children can also complete NAUI’s Junior SCUBA Diver course, beginning as young as 10 years old.
